General Information:

This Board is tasked, pursuant to Health Occupations Article, Title 3, Subtitles 1 and 5A and Title 10, Subtitle 43 of the MD Code of Regulations, to license, regulate and discipline chiropractors and to certify, regulate and discipline chiropractic assistants and massage therapists and to oversee the Massage Therapy Advisory Committee (“MTAC”).

Board members are selected by the Governor following recommendation by the public and the Maryland Chiropractic Assn.  Members serve for 4 year terms and are eligible for renewal of their terms for an additional 4 years.
